Today is America’s 4th of July — Independence Day! — a birthday, of sorts.  For some it may be a day of celebration, for others, a day of reckoning.  Many will use this day to look back; others to look forward.  Some will surely see progress made … others dealing with loss, will see something different.  People will count their blessings; measuring gains, and endure losses.  For sure, THIS 4TH OF JULY will make a defining mark a milestone in history, like-it-or-not.  I mean it and sincerely believe, America needs Fatherly Love and Support: God Bless America.

Caryl and I will use this day to regroup, to remap what we see ahead.  Plotting a path requires clearing a path; a declutter of the spaces within and without.  [For me] It will be re-organizing the downstairs “workspace” … putting the tools back on the shelf and labeling storage boxes with their contents.  [For Caryl] It will be “paint touch-ups” in the bedroom around the baseboard and trim.  Later on, she plans to direct her attention to the master bath; where the final application of floor sealant will be applied … after a good cleaning.
I mentioned ‘spaces within’ … [Both Caryl and I] will Reprogram.ME (… begin a 4-week MP3 mind reboot course)  Similar to re-reading The Secret and following the teachings of the Law of Attraction these four weekly audio lessons should provide a mind and body cleanse, a detox of sorts, for any stinkin’ thinkin’.

Let’s wake up to the truth about sales.

Opportunities to become a better salesperson exist everywhere.

For example, I was recently at home with my wife, Caryl, when I got a phone call from some-one interested in buying our home…

Their persistence certainly surprised me, but I was more shocked by the things this salesperson wasn’t doing.  They never asked about my needs or listened to my concerns.

So many people are too concerned with convincing you that what they have to sell is GOOD, they do not even make sure it works for YOU.

I got off the phone and sat for a moment collecting my thoughts, realizing the opportunities this gal must be missing out on.  Maybe even the opportunities YOU are missing out on.

Whether you’re an entrepreneur, business owner, or are looking to attain higher levels of success… you need to know how to sell.  Being a great salesperson is one of the quickest ways to open up the many doors of opportunity that await you.

Coinbase is expected to make its initial public offering today.  Analysts have provided expectations for the company to trade as high as $600 per share, and potentially with a valuation of $148 billion.  That would make for one of the largest companies to go public in history. The Bureau of Labor Statistics was down early on Friday, as traders looked to see the latest inflation numbers.  With a consumer price index level up 1.0 percent month over month, or twice what was expected, inflation numbers are certainly looking up.
